About This Yacht

Lagoon 43 catamaran charter Kos puts a brand-new 2026 sailing catamaran and the whole of the Dodecanese within reach. This is a bareboat charter — sail her yourself, or add a skipper for the week. Fourteen metres of the latest Lagoon, based at Kos Port and built for shallow, unhurried island cruising.

The Lagoon 43 is the yard’s newest cruising catamaran, and this is a 2026 hull in the six-cabin layout. Vertical bows, tall hull windows and a full-beam flybridge give her the volume of a far larger yacht. She is easy to handle short-handed: a full-batten mainsail, a furling genoa and everything led back to the helm.

New for 2026, built for the Dodecanese

She measures 13.72 m overall on a 7.62 m beam and draws just 1.22 m. That shoal draught is the point in these waters — it opens the shallow, sand-bottomed bays that keep deeper monohulls offshore. Twin 57 hp diesels handle harbours and calms, and a watermaker and generator keep her independent at anchor for days.

Deck space is generous and layered: a flybridge lounge above, a full-width cockpit aft that opens to the saloon, and a foredeck for sun. The saloon is glazed on every side, bright and cool under air conditioning throughout.

Kos sits mid-Dodecanese, a natural base with an airport and a short hop to the Turkish coast. From the harbour the classic circuit opens up: the volcanic caldera of Nisyros, the monastery bays of Astypalaia, the long beaches of Kos itself, and the sheltered coves of Kalymnos and Leros.

Plan the week around wind and appetite. Sail in the morning, anchor over clear sand for lunch, and take the tender ashore for dinner at a harbour taverna. Aquinox can arrange boat-in dining at kitchens that sit at the water’s edge and hold the table for your arrival.

Cabins and accommodation

The six-cabin layout sleeps up to eight guests in four double cabins, with two further cabins forward and four heads with separate showers. Air conditioning runs in the saloon and every cabin. The interior is the newest Lagoon design — pale oak, soft neutrals and light from every window.

Season, and what the rate covers

Kos sails from late April into the end of October. The meltemi runs through July and August and eases in September, which is when most repeat clients book. The weekly rate covers the yacht, tender and outboard, linen, and the berth at Kos Port on changeover day. Fuel, harbour fees on the islands, provisioning and a skipper are extra. From the marina, Kalymnos, Leros and Nisyros are all within a short day, and the Turkish coast is close if the paperwork is arranged in advance.
