A day, a weekend or a week. The format matters more than the yacht.

The day charter. 09:00 to 18:00, one or two coves, lunch aboard, back to the marina for dinner ashore. The cheapest way to put 20 people on a good yacht, and the right answer for most birthdays. Bodrum and Fethiye both run these well.
The long weekend. 2 nights. From Gocek that is about 15 miles total: the island for dinner, the sandbar for swimming, a night at the ruins, home by noon on day 3. Enough to feel like a trip, short enough that nobody has to take real leave.
The full week. For a 40th, a 50th, a 60th, where guests are flying in anyway. At that point the birthday stops being the format and the week becomes a family holiday or a Legacy Cruise with a dinner in it.
Up to 12 and the yacht does everything. The crew cooks, the cake comes out at the right moment, nobody organises anything.
Between 12 and 30 you need deck space more than cabins. A gulet or a large catamaran gives you a long table, a wide aft deck and somewhere to put 20 people that isn't a saloon. Motor yachts of the same length carry fewer people comfortably.
Over 30 it becomes an event, and events need a berth. See the catering note on the wedding page. It applies identically.

The best birthday evenings on this coast follow the same shape. Anchor by 17:00. Swim. Drinks on deck through sunset, which in July is around 20:30 and in September around 19:30. Dinner at 21:00, either on board or stern-to at a pontoon in the cove. Music on deck until the hour the bay allows.
That last part is worth knowing. Amplified music is restricted in the designated bays of the Fethiye–Gocek protected area, and the restriction is enforced. If the night is loud, the answer is a berth in town or a bay outside the zone. We will tell you which before you book, not after.
Bodrum for a birthday with energy: the peninsula, the beach clubs, a town that is still awake at 02:00. Gocek for a quieter milestone. Fethiye for the best value on a day charter with numbers.
Yes, and for most groups it is the right call. 09:00 to 18:00, 2 coves, lunch aboard. You get a better yacht for the money than a week would buy.
Usually yes, on a day charter. On a crewed weekly charter it is covered by the provisioning arrangement. Ask us before you buy a case of anything.
Yes. Tell the crew in advance and it arrives at the right moment with the lights down. Dietary requirements go in the provisioning list, not a text message on day 1.
On a day charter or a berth, yes. In the protected bays overnight, no. Amplified music is restricted there. We will route around it if the night is the point.
