Privacy Policy and KVKK Notice

This notice explains how personal data shared through aquinoxyachting.com is processed, in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

1. Data controller

2. Data we process

The name, e-mail, phone/WhatsApp number and request details (dates, party size, cruising area, budget, notes) you send through our forms; at booking stage, the guest-list details required by port authorities (name, passport number, nationality); cookies and technical logs related to the use of the site.

3. Why we process it

• To answer your request and prepare suitable yachts and routes,
• To conclude and perform a charter or a sale and purchase agreement,
• To meet legal obligations (port and customs declarations, invoicing, accounting),
• If you have given consent, to send offers, last-minute availability and new listings.

4. Legal basis

Performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2); your explicit consent for commercial electronic messages (KVKK art. 5/1 and Law No. 6563).

5. Sharing

Only as far as your request requires: with our licensed partner UCT Agency, yacht owners and central agents, captains, transfer and accommodation providers, port and customs authorities, and public authorities where the law requires. If you ask about a yacht or route abroad, the relevant data is shared with parties abroad under KVKK art. 9.

6. Retention

Enquiries are kept for up to 2 years; contract and invoice records for the legal retention periods. Data is then deleted or anonymised. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.

7. Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, correction or deletion, learn who it was shared with, object, and claim compensation for damage. Write to info@aquinoxyachting.com; we reply within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use cookies to remember your language, keep the site secure and measure visits. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
