05 / 07 · Signature voyage
A week designed around not going anywhere. The itinerary is the point, and the itinerary is mostly empty.

Most charters are over-programmed. Six anchorages, 4 shore excursions, 2 towns and a one-way delivery, and guests arrive home needing a holiday.
This one moves twice in 7 days. The rest of the week happens in 2 bays.
That sounds like less and it is the whole product. Sleep without an alarm. Swim before anyone is awake. Read for 6 hours. Eat when you are hungry rather than at a sitting. It takes about 3 days for most people to stop checking their phone, which is exactly why a 4-night version of this does not work.
The Gulf of Hisaronu. Pine-covered, deeply indented, and the quietest major gulf on the Turkish coast. Bozburun, Selimiye, Dirsek, Bozukkale. Flat water, almost no swell, and villages rather than resorts.
The Gokova shore. The northern side of the gulf, below the pine ridge. Longer and emptier than Hisaronu, with the deepest shade on this coast.
Datca's southern bays for the second half of the week if you want clearer water and more sun.
What these have in common: no day-boat traffic to speak of, no nightlife, and nothing to feel you should be visiting.

There isn't a schedule, which is the point, but a shape emerges by day 3.
Swim at first light, when the water is 26°C and glass. Breakfast whenever. Deck in the shade through the middle of the day. Shade is a specification question, not a weather one, so ask about the bimini coverage before you book. Second swim at 17:00. Dinner late, on deck.
Yoga on the foredeck if you want it. We can put an instructor aboard for the week, and on a 7-night charter it is worth it. A foredeck at 07:00 at anchor is a better room than any studio.
Sea temperature: 20°C in May, 24°C in June, 27°C in July, 28°C in August, 27°C in September, 24°C in October. This coast holds its heat later than the Aegean.
Freediving instruction is available and it suits this week better than scuba: no tanks, no noise, no schedule. An hour a day in flat water with an instructor does more for most people than the yoga does.
Ashore, the Sultaniye thermal springs on Koycegiz lake, reached from Ekincik, are a half-day trip and the one shore excursion that fits this voyage.
Shade, a swim platform you can sit on with your feet in the water, and quiet. Generator noise is the thing that ruins this week. Ask specifically about overnight generator hours and whether the yacht has a battery bank that lets it run silent at night. A yacht that must run a generator from 02:00 to 06:00 in August is the wrong yacht for this charter, whatever else it has.
Air conditioning matters in July and August and matters less in May and October, which is another argument for the shoulder season.
May, June, late September, October. July and August work if the yacht is quiet and well shaded, but the bays are busier and the nights are warm enough that the generator question becomes decisive.
If you want the same pace with 2 people and a romantic frame, see The Romance Escape. If you want it with family aboard, the family charter page covers the layout questions.
Yes, and it is the product. If you want to see things, this is the wrong voyage. Try Empires of the Sea.
Yes, for the week or for selected days. On 7 nights it is worth it. Tell us early. There are not many good ones on this coast.
The right question to ask. Some yachts run silent overnight on batteries and some do not. We check it per vessel before proposing.
In the Hisaronu villages, yes. In the quieter bays, patchy. Most guests on this charter treat that as a feature.
