About This Yacht

A Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza week is the entry point into the Balearics on a crewed catamaran. The yacht is 14 metres overall with 5 cabins for 10 guests, based at Ibiza Port, with pick-ups also arranged at Palma and elsewhere on Mallorca.

What a Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza gives you

Bali builds for space rather than speed, and a Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza shows it. The hull is 14 metres on a 7.74 metre beam and the draft is only 1.22 metres, which puts the yacht inside the sand shelf at Illetes where deeper boats cannot go. Displacement is 17 tonnes.

The feature that separates a Bali from a Lagoon or a Fountaine Pajot is the forward cockpit. Instead of trampolines the 4.6 has a solid foredeck with seating, and the saloon bulkhead lifts like a garage door so the inside and the front deck become one space. On a Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza that is where breakfast happens.

Accommodation

A Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza sleeps 10 across 5 cabins: 4 doubles and 1 twin, with heads and showers to match and air conditioning throughout. The crew have their own quarters and access.

The saloon sits on the main deck with glazing all round and the galley on the same level, so nobody is cooking below in the heat. Dining is set inside and in the aft cockpit, both for 10.

Deck spaces

A Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza has three distinct outdoor areas. The aft cockpit is the shaded one, directly off the saloon. The forward cockpit is the sun-and-breeze one, which is unusual on a catamaran this size. The flybridge carries the helm, a sunpad and seating.

The transom steps down to a swim platform between the hulls, and that is where the tender, the paddleboards and the snorkelling gear live. On a Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza the day settles into a rhythm around it: swim, lunch in the cockpit, move one bay along, swim again.

Where she cruises

From Ibiza Port the standard route runs south across to Formentera for Illetes and Espalmador, then back along the west coast of Ibiza for Cala Comte, Cala Salada and the sunset off Es Vedra. A Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza can also run north-east to Mallorca and work the coast between Andratx and Palma.

The crossing to Formentera takes under two hours in normal conditions, so the week does not turn into a delivery trip. Boat-in only restaurants on Formentera are a short tender run from the anchorage and the crew book them in advance.

Equipment

The yacht carries a tender with outboard, stand-up paddleboards, snorkelling gear and inflatables, with air conditioning, a water maker, an ice maker, onboard internet and an audio system through the saloon and cockpits. Fuel capacity is 800 litres and water 800 litres.

Sail area is 151 square metres between the mainsail and the genoa, and the standard motorisation is 114 hp. A Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza sails well enough on a reach to be worth setting the rig for the Formentera crossing.

Terms and season

A Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza runs on MYBA terms. The weekly fee covers hire, insurance, crew wages and food, and laundry. Fuel, berthing, provisioning, drinks and local taxes are billed through an advance provisioning allowance of roughly 25 to 30 per cent. Spanish VAT is additional and gratuities are at the charterer’s discretion.

A Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza runs from May to the end of September. July and August are the busiest and the most expensive; June and September give the same water and a noticeably lower weekly rate.

Aquinox Yachting holds dates and quotes the full cost including APA and transfers. For larger groups in the same waters we carry the Alegria 67 charter in Ibiza and the Sunreef 60 charter in Ibiza. Model specifications are published by Bali Catamarans.

A Bali 4.6 charter Ibiza suits a group of up to 10 that wants a crewed week in the Balearics without a superyacht budget, and it is the boat we quote most often for families. Enquire for availability, a firm quote including APA, and a draft route.
