About This Yacht

An Alegria 67 charter Ibiza week gives you 20.36 metres of Fountaine Pajot flagship with 4 double cabins, 10 guests and a crew of 3. The yacht works out of Ibiza Port through the summer and cruises the Pitiusas, Mallorca and the western Mediterranean.

The yacht behind an Alegria 67 charter Ibiza

The Alegria 67 is the largest sailing catamaran Fountaine Pajot builds and it was designed around the flybridge rather than having one added. The hull is 20.36 metres overall on a 9.84 metre beam, the draft is 1.7 metres and the light displacement is 35 tonnes, which is what gives her the motion of a far larger yacht in a short Balearic chop.

Upwind sail area is 230 square metres and the twin diesels run between 110 and 150 hp depending on specification. Tankage is 1,200 litres of fuel and 1,050 litres of water, with a water maker on top, so an Alegria 67 charter Ibiza is not tied to a marina for refills.

Accommodation

An Alegria 67 charter Ibiza sleeps 10 in 4 double cabins, each with its own heads and shower and air conditioning throughout. The crew of 3 have separate quarters forward with their own access, so the guest side of the boat stays private.

The saloon runs the full beam with glazing on three sides and opens straight onto the cockpit, which is the part of an Alegria 67 charter Ibiza that guests notice first. Indoor and outdoor dining are both set for 10 and the galley serves both without crossing the saloon.

Deck and flybridge

On an Alegria 67 charter Ibiza the flybridge is the main social space: helm, bar, sunpad and a shaded lounge, with the view that sells the boat. Below it the cockpit seats 10 in permanent shade.

Forward there is a full-width sunpad and trampolines between the bows. The transom steps down to a broad swim platform where the tender and the toys live, and on an Alegria 67 charter Ibiza that platform is where most of the day happens once the anchor is down.

Where she cruises

An Alegria 67 charter Ibiza normally starts from Ibiza Port and runs south to Formentera for the sandbar anchorages at Illetes and Espalmador, then back up the west coast of Ibiza for Cala Salada, Cala Comte and the sunsets off Es Vedra.

An Alegria 67 charter Ibiza can also cross to Mallorca and work the cliffs between Andratx and Soller, or carry on to Menorca if the forecast suits. Boat-in only restaurants on Formentera, Es Molí de Sal among them, are a short tender run from where the yacht lies, and the crew book them before you arrive.

Equipment and water toys

The yacht carries a rigid tender, stand-up paddleboards, snorkelling gear, inflatables and seating toys, with a water maker, ice maker, full air conditioning, onboard internet and an audio system through the saloon, cockpit and flybridge. An Alegria 67 charter Ibiza includes the crew’s cooking, and the chef works to a provisioning brief agreed before you board.

Terms and season

An Alegria 67 charter Ibiza runs on MYBA terms. The weekly fee covers hire, insurance, crew wages and food, and laundry. Fuel, berthing, provisioning, drinks and local taxes are billed through an advance provisioning allowance of roughly 25 to 30 per cent. Spanish VAT is additional and gratuities are at the charterer’s discretion.

The Balearic season runs from May to the end of September. July and August book furthest ahead and the anchorages are busiest then; June and September give the same water with far fewer boats, and an Alegria 67 charter Ibiza is easier to place in those weeks.

Aquinox Yachting holds dates and quotes the full cost including APA and transfers. We also carry the Sunreef 60 charter in Ibiza for groups that want a darker, more compact boat, and the motor yacht charter in Ibiza for guests who would rather have speed than sail. Model specifications are published by Fountaine Pajot.

An Alegria 67 charter Ibiza suits a group of up to 10 that wants the deck space of a 20 metre catamaran and a flybridge to spend the evening on. Enquire for availability, a firm quote including APA, and a draft route built around your dates.
