Motor yacht charter Sardinia rarely comes in a hull like this one. She is a 2022 Aegean Explorer M26 — a true long-range explorer yacht, 26 metres of steel and aluminium, crewed by four and built to carry twelve guests in the kind of space most yachts her length cannot find. She lies at Marina di Olbia, on the doorstep of the Costa Smeralda.
This is not a production flybridge boat. The Explorer M26 has a steel displacement hull, an aluminium superstructure and twin MAN 650 hp diesels for a range of more than 3,500 nautical miles. She cruises at a steady, sea-kindly pace and reaches beyond the marina circuit — to the Maddalena archipelago, the granite coves of Corsica, and anywhere a week of open water can take her.
Accommodation runs to six cabins for twelve guests. Three are master suites, one on each deck; the upper-deck master opens onto its own private aft terrace with a sunbathing and lounging area. A VIP and two twins complete the layout on the lower deck. Every cabin is en-suite — six heads in all.

The crew of four — captain, deckhand, hostess and a private cook — run the yacht and the week around you. Meals are cooked to a preference list agreed before you board. Service is discreet and complete.

The Explorer is built around its outdoor rooms. A dining cockpit aft, a large main-deck saloon, an upper-deck lounge, and a broad swim platform that sits level with the sea. Water toys come aboard as standard — a tender and stand-up paddleboards — and the platform launches all of it in minutes. Solar panels on the coachroof feed the systems and keep her quiet at anchor.

Marina di Olbia sits at the top of the Gulf of Olbia, minutes from Olbia’s airport and the start of the Costa Smeralda. From the dock the week opens north to the pink-granite islands of La Maddalena and Caprera, west to the beaches of Porto Cervo and Cala di Volpe, and across the strait to the wild south of Corsica. The Explorer’s range makes the whole of it reachable at an unhurried pace.

Days are planned to weather and appetite. Breakfast on the aft terrace, a morning run to a quiet cove, lunch at anchor over clear sand, and dinner cooked aboard or ashore at a harbour table held for your arrival. Aquinox arranges the itinerary, the provisioning and the berths.
The Sardinian season runs from May to the end of September. July and August fill the Costa Smeralda and price accordingly. June and September give you the same water with room to anchor. The weekly rate covers the yacht and her crew of four. An advance provisioning allowance is billed on top and pays for fuel, food and drink, berths away from Olbia, and La Maddalena park fees. Thirty per cent of the charter fee is the usual APA, settled against receipts at the end of the week. A long-range hull like this one burns far less than a planing yacht of the same length, so fuel is rarely the line that surprises you.
Rates for this luxury motor yacht charter in Sardinia start at €69,479 per week, crew and yacht included; a 40% APA covers fuel, provisioning, berths and running costs, on MYBA terms. Aquinox Yachting manages the booking end to end — itinerary, provisioning, transfers and berths.
