About This Yacht

This Azimut 68S charter Bodrum yacht is a 20-metre sport motor yacht with a low, dark hull and a full 2022 refit. She sleeps six guests in three cabins and runs with a crew of three. Her home berth is Yalıkavak Marina, on the Bodrum peninsula. The 68S is Azimut’s sport-flybridge line — fast, sharp and built to cover the Gulf of Gökova at speed while keeping a small party in real comfort.

The Azimut 68S charter Bodrum experience

Yalıkavak sits on the north-west tip of the Bodrum peninsula. Its marina is one of the most polished on the Turkish coast, with a waterfront of restaurants and boutiques, and it opens straight onto the bays of the Gulf of Gökova and the islands off Bodrum. From here the runs are short and the anchorages are quiet once you clear the town.

The Azimut 68S is a planing yacht, so she covers ground when you want her to and sits quietly when you do not. Twin 1,360-horsepower engines give an easy cruise. The 2022 refit brought the interior fully current — pale, modern and bright, a long way from the yacht’s 2007 build date. A crew of three keeps her running around the guests.

Accommodation and interior

Three cabins sleep six. The full-beam master sits amidships, with hull windows, a sofa and its own bathroom. A VIP cabin forward and a further guest cabin handle the rest of the party, each with a bathroom of its own. The interior is a refined grey-and-cream scheme — soft leather, low light and clean lines throughout.

The main salon runs open and bright, with sofas facing across a low table and full-height glass on both sides. A sunroof opens the whole space to the sky. The galley is fully fitted, and the yacht carries the practical extras a longer week needs — a washing machine, a water maker and solar panels among them.

Deck space and water toys

Outside is where the sport line earns its name. The aft deck seats everyone for dinner under shade, a step from the sea. A large sun pad runs across the foredeck, and the swim platform folds down at the stern to open a beach club at the waterline. At dusk the low profile and dark hull turn the whole yacht cinematic.

A jet ski, a tender and a barbecue keep the days on the water busy. The bays around Bodrum are warm and clear, so a typical day is a mix of fast runs between coves and long, lazy stretches at anchor with the platform down and the toys in the water.

Booking a Azimut 68S charter Bodrum week

A week from Yalıkavak usually runs into the Gulf of Gökova — Cleopatra’s Beach at Sedir Island, the Seven Islands and the quiet inlets beyond — or south towards the bays off Bodrum. Much of the best food on this coast is boat-in only. The crew provisions the galley to the guest’s brief and arranges tables ashore. See our full charter fleet for other vessels on the same coast, and the official Go Türkiye guide for background on the region.

A refit is what separates a good older yacht from a tired one. The 2022 work on this Azimut covered the systems guests never see and the finishes they do — air conditioning, electronics, soft furnishings and the whole interior scheme. She charters today in the condition of a much newer boat, with the sharp Azimut sport styling that has aged well.

Season on this coast runs from late April into October. July and August are warm and busy, and Yalıkavak is at its liveliest. May, June and September are calmer, and for many guests they are the better months — warm water, thinner crowds and softer light. A crewed week takes the planning off your hands whichever month you choose.

The daily charter rate starts from €2,300. This is the charter fee. VAT and running costs such as fuel, food and mooring are handled separately. This yacht is offered under the Aquinox fleet code SF2103. To hold a date, contact Aquinox Yachting on +90 549 507 19 93 or at info@aquinoxyachting.com.
