A Different Kind of Deluxe

The word gets used loosely. On SW4205, it means something specific.

This 42.3-metre Motor Sailer is one of the most considered deluxe gulet charters operating out of Göcek — not because of what is listed on its specification sheet, but because of how it was built and who it was built for. Launched in 2020 and returned to the shipyard for a full refit in 2025, SW4205 carries none of the visual fatigue of older charter vessels. The lines are contemporary. The interiors are deliberate. The experience, from the moment you step aboard in Göcek marina, is one of controlled, unhurried ease.

It departs from the traditional gulet form in all the ways that matter. The silhouette is lower and more resolved. The deck spaces are organised for living — not simply for sunbathing. And below deck, five private cabins hold a standard of finish that makes the distinction between a deluxe gulet and a luxury hotel suite a genuinely close one.

Five Cabins. No Compromise.

SW4205 accommodates 10 guests across five cabins, each finished and equipped to an identical specification. The Master Cabin occupies the bow — a generous, private space with the particular quiet that only comes from being at the vessel’s furthest point from the engines. Three Double Cabins occupy the mid-ship, and a Twin Cabin sits at the stern, equally appointed.

Every cabin carries independent climate control, a flat-screen television, an integrated music system, and a hairdryer. En-suite bathrooms are fitted throughout. There are no standard cabins on this vessel — only the same level of care, repeated five times.

On Deck: The Water Programme

The sea around Göcek is not a backdrop. It is the itinerary.

SW4205 carries one of the most complete water toy deployments of any deluxe gulet charter in Göcek. The primary tender is a 4.80-metre rib with an 80 HP outboard — capable enough to reach Göcek’s outermost islands in under ten minutes. A second 3.80-metre tender handles daily transfers. For those who want speed on the water itself, the 2026 Kawasaki Jet Ski — rated at 160 HP — is among the most powerful personal watercraft available on any charter vessel in the region.

The remaining water programme covers every register: the Connolly Cayman water ski and kneeboard for towed sports, paddleboards and a pedalboard for quieter exploration, and a full complement of inflatable leisure equipment — trampoline, floating platform, water pad, and a two-person Big Mable towable — for guests who want the sea at its most uncomplicated.

From calm mornings on the floating pad to late-afternoon runs on the jet ski, the water deck on SW4205 does not run out of answers.

Göcek: The Right Port of Call

Göcek earns its reputation quietly. Unlike the more frequented bases further along the Turkish coast, it operates with a restraint that appeals to the charterers who know what they are looking for. The town is small, the marina is immaculate, and the water beyond it opens onto some of the most sheltered and varied sailing in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The twelve islands of Göcek Bay are reachable within the first hour of any itinerary — each one offering a different quality of anchorage, from shallow turquoise inlets to deep-water bays rimmed with pine forest. Beyond the bay, the Gulf of Fethiye extends southeast toward Ölüdeniz, Butterfly Valley, and the Lycian rock tombs at Dalyan. The Greek island of Rhodes lies within reach on an extended passage.

For guests arriving by air, Dalaman International Airport sits 45 minutes from Göcek marina — one of the most direct airport-to-vessel transfers in the region.

SW4205 spends its season on these waters. This is not a generic deployment. The vessel and the destination were made for each other.
