The Lagoon 620 charter Bodrum is a 20-metre sailing catamaran in a rare owner’s layout — just three cabins for six guests aboard a yacht built to carry twelve. She was launched in 2014 and berths at Bodrum Milta Marina with a professional crew. The 620 was Lagoon’s flagship for a decade, and the reason still shows: a ten-metre beam, a full flybridge, a raised saloon with wraparound views, and volume a monohull twice her length could not match.
She measures 20 metres on deck with a beam of 10 metres and a shoal 1.4-metre draught. In this owner’s configuration, three double cabins share the two hulls — one a full-beam master suite — each with an en-suite head and shower, so six guests travel with the space usually split among twelve. The raised saloon sits above the hulls with wraparound glazing, and the galley, cockpit and flybridge extend the living space in every direction. Outdoor living on the 620 is on another scale. The aft cockpit dines the whole party in the shade, level with the saloon and steps from the bathing platform. Forward, the trampolines and foredeck give a quiet retreat at the bow. Electric winches handle the tall rig, and a large RIB tender comes with the charter for beach landings and exploring the Gulf.
Inside, the raised saloon is bright and calm, wrapped in windows so the sea fills the room from the settee, the navigation station and the galley alike. A generous dining table gathers the guests, and the galley is a full crew galley — cooker, oven, deep sinks and abundant refrigeration — built to cater a week at anchor. The three cabins are finished in warm timber and soft neutral fabric, each with an en-suite head, and the owner’s suite runs the full beam of one hull. A water maker keeps the tanks full.
Twin 110-horsepower diesels — 164.1 kW in total — drive a 20-metre catamaran with ease and settle her on a straight, quiet line under power. She carries 1,000 litres of fuel and 1,000 litres of fresh water, with a water maker aboard for extended, self-sufficient cruising. The hull is fibreglass and the rig a tall mainsail with electric winch assistance. Her 1.4-metre draught is remarkably shoal for the size, so even this flagship can anchor in the shallow bays that define the coast. She charters fully crewed.
Bodrum opens onto the Gulf of Gökova, one of the Mediterranean’s great sailing grounds and one of its great tables at anchor.
