About This Yacht

An ultra luxury gulet charter Marmaris booking aboard this 43-metre three-masted gulet, listed by Aquinox Yachting as MN4308, takes twelve guests in six cabins with a crew of six. At €80,000 a week she sits at the very top of the Turkish gulet market, and the cabin plan explains why.

Five of her six cabins are masters. Not a master and five doubles — five masters and one twin. On almost every other boat in the fleet somebody ends up in the small room at the end of the corridor; on hers, nobody does. For a group of six couples that single fact is worth more than any amount of deck furniture.

A 43-Metre Gulet from Kadir Turhan

Built in 2008 by Kadir Turhan on an 8.4-metre beam, she carries three masts and a full working rig — she sails properly rather than motoring under bare poles like much of the fleet. Twin MANs give a ten-knot cruise and twelve flat out.

Her tankage is what makes the week work: 9,000 litres of fuel, 15,000 litres of fresh water and a 500-litre-a-day watermaker on top. A week aboard her never needs to interrupt the itinerary for a marina stop, which at this level is the whole point.

Twelve Guests in Six Cabins

Six en-suite cabins sleep twelve: five masters and one twin. Each is panelled in mahogany with air conditioning running around the clock, a television, and a bathroom finished in stone with twin basins. Two of the bathrooms carry a full bath rather than a shower enclosure.

The joinery is the giveaway at this price — solid mahogany, arched doorways, buttoned headboards, brass fittings, and a guest corridor panelled to the same standard as the cabins rather than left plain.

Bathrooms run to stone counters, twin basins, glass enclosures and proper ventilation. Six for twelve guests, and the standard is consistent across all of them rather than tapering off toward the forward cabins.

Saloon, Bar and Deck Spaces

The saloon runs the beam in cream and mahogany with a dining table for twelve and a lounge group forward of it, glazed on both sides. It is air-conditioned, carries satellite television with Netflix, a PlayStation, a Bluetooth sound system and a shelf of board games.

On deck she carries a proper bar — a curved counter with stools set into a sweeping banquette on the aft deck, with the dining table under a fixed awning alongside. It is the arrangement that lets twelve people spread between a drink and a meal without anyone moving furniture.

The foredeck runs to deep cushioned sunpads, and set into it is a jacuzzi. She also carries a treadmill, which is close to unique in the Turkish fleet — an ultra luxury gulet charter Marmaris client who trains does not have to lose the week, and it is a small sign of how completely she is specified.

Water Toys and the Floating Platform

Her inventory runs to a jet ski, a windsurfer, a canoe, paddleboards, a ringo, a banana, water skis, a kneeboard, snorkelling gear and fishing tackle. The jet ski is chargeable at €250 a day plus fuel rather than included, which is worth settling at contract.

The floating platform is the piece that changes a day at anchor. It deploys off the transom as a teak swimming base with the boards ranged along it, and by mid-morning it is usually where the group has settled. diving can be arranged at the anchorage.

Cruising Grounds from Marmaris

Marmaris is her home port, ninety minutes from Dalaman airport. The Gulf of Hisarönü opens west — Selimiye, Bozburun, Datça, Palamutbükü — and the Datça peninsula ends at Knidos above its ancient harbour. East lie Ekincik, the Dalyan delta and the Gulf of Fethiye.

With Greek transit paperwork arranged in advance, Rhodes and Symi are a morning’s run and the crew handle clearance both ways. Because she genuinely sails, a week aboard her can be built around wind rather than schedule — which is a different holiday from motoring between bays.

Cuisine and Service

The cook works to a menu agreed before boarding. Breakfast is laid on the aft deck, lunch served at anchor after the morning swim, and dinner alternates between the boat and a table ashore. Provisioning comes from the Marmaris market and the villages the boat passes.

The crew book the boat-in-only kitchens along the Hisarönü shore — the fish tavernas of Selimiye and Bozburun, the mooring restaurants at Bozukkale and Karaca Bay. Reaching those tables is a large part of what the week is for, and they are not reachable by road.

Charter Rates and Terms

She is quoted at a flat €80,000 per week from May to October, plus a 30 per cent Advance Provisioning Allowance — no seasonal ladder, which is unusual and simplifies the arithmetic. The rate covers the yacht, the crew of six, insurance and standard equipment. Fuel, provisioning, harbour dues and gratuities are drawn from the APA, and the jet ski is charged separately.

Across twelve berths that is roughly €6,700 per person for the week before expenses. She books early and holds her weeks — an ultra luxury gulet charter Marmaris booking at this level is usually taken a year out.

Crew and Service

Six crew look after twelve guests — captain, cook, seaman, mechanic and two hosts. Her master, Captain Nadir Gök, runs the Hisarönü and Datça coasts. Carrying a dedicated mechanic on a gulet this size is itself a signal: she is operated as a yacht rather than as a boat.
