A traditional gulet charter Bodrum booking aboard this 34-metre ketch, listed by Aquinox Yachting as WF3404, takes ten guests in five en-suite cabins with a crew of four. Launched in 2004 and refitted in 2017, she is a mahogany-and-white gulet of the classic Bodrum school, and she is finished to a standard that the price does not suggest.
Ten guests on 34 metres is generous. Most boats her length are fitted with six or seven cabins and take twelve or fourteen; she takes five and ten, which means every cabin is a proper room and the decks never feel worked.
Her topsides are varnished mahogany above a white boot, with two white masts and dark blue sail covers — the traditional Bodrum profile executed cleanly. The 2017 refit went through the guest interior and the systems, and the deck teak has been kept in the condition that separates a well-run boat from a tired one.
She runs a single 560-horsepower Caterpillar rather than the usual twin installation, which is worth knowing: fewer moving parts, lower consumption, and a cruising speed of ten knots that is entirely adequate for a week in the Gulf of Gökova. Three generators — two of 27 kW and one of 22 kW — cover the hotel load.
Five en-suite cabins sleep ten: one master and four doubles. Every one is panelled in mahogany with air conditioning, a private shower and WC, and the master carries an LCD television. The corridor between them is panelled to the same standard rather than left as bare joinery.
The four doubles are evenly sized, which with two or three couples aboard removes the usual negotiation over who gets which room. Crew of four berth separately with their own access.
One cabin is configured with single berths side by side rather than a double, which makes her workable for a family or for a group of friends where not everyone is a couple. All five have ensuite shower and WC.
The saloon is the room that makes the case for her. Carved mahogany columns, a curved bar in the same timber, cream upholstery and windows down both sides — it is craftsmanship rather than decoration, and it is the reason a traditional gulet charter Bodrum client picks a boat like this over a newer composite hull.
The dining table sits between the columns with the bar behind it, air-conditioned, with an LCD television and a music system. It seats all ten, which matters on the evenings when the meltemi makes the aft deck uncomfortable.
Outside, the aft deck carries a round dining table under a fixed awning with cushioned seating around the transom — a round table rather than the usual long one, which changes how a group of ten talks over dinner more than you would expect.
The foredeck runs to sun mattresses behind a varnished mahogany coaming, and the side decks are laid in wide teak under a full-length awning. There is a deck shower aft. Between the three areas ten guests spread out naturally rather than competing for space.
She carries a jet ski, water skis, a wakeboard, a canoe, a ringo, a banana, paddleboards, snorkelling gear and fishing tackle, with a tender running a 90-horsepower outboard. The jet ski lives on deck ready to launch rather than stowed away for the week.
diving can be arranged at the anchorage. The swim ladder stays rigged all day and the crew keep the towed toys ready rather than making the group ask.
Bodrum is her home port. The Gulf of Gökova runs east — Çökertme, English Harbour, Löngöz, Seven Islands, Karacasöğüt — and the Datça peninsula runs west, ending at Knidos where the ruins stand above the anchorage. Neither direction asks for a long passage at ten knots.
Kos lies forty minutes across the strait, with Kalymnos, Leros and Patmos beyond it. With Greek transit paperwork arranged in advance the crew handle clearance in both directions, and Aquinox Yachting will build a mixed Turkish and Dodecanese week where the group wants one.
The cook works to a menu agreed before boarding. Breakfast is laid on the aft deck, lunch is served at anchor after the morning swim, and dinner alternates between the boat and a table ashore. Provisioning comes from the Bodrum market and the villages the boat passes.
The crew book the boat-in-only kitchens of the Gulf of Gökova — the fish tavernas at Çökertme, the mooring restaurants at Değirmen Bükü and Karacasöğüt, the single taverna at Seven Islands. Reaching those tables is a large part of what a traditional gulet charter Bodrum week is for.

Rates run €2,500 per day in May and October, €3,000 in June and September and €3,500 in July and August, plus expenses — equivalent to roughly €17,500 to €23,800 per week. The rate covers the yacht, the crew of four, insurance and standard equipment. Fuel, provisioning, harbour dues and gratuities are additional.
At ten guests and this rate she is one of the better-value boats of her length on the coast, and the low guest count is the reason. She is taken by the week, Saturday to Saturday, and July and August commit early.
Four crew look after ten guests — captain, cook and two deckhands. Her master, Captain Uğur Avcı, has run the Gökova and Datça bays for years. The service is informal rather than formal, which suits a boat of this character and the groups that take her.
