About This Yacht

The Azimut 85 Fly charter Bodrum is a 26-metre flybridge motor yacht, built by Azimut in 2004 and refitted in 2021. She sleeps eight guests across four cabins, with a crew of four. The lines are classic Azimut — a long flybridge, a warm cherry interior, a broad foredeck. She is an easy, sociable boat for a week on the Turkish coast.

The Azimut 85 Fly charter Bodrum profile

She measures 26.25 metres on deck with a beam of 6.1 metres and a 2-metre draught. Twin engines, each rated at 1,520 horsepower, give an easy cruising pace. Fuel capacity is 7,600 litres, with 1,600 litres of fresh water aboard and a water maker to extend it. The proportions are set for comfort at anchor as much as passage-making — a wide flybridge, generous side decks and a foredeck built for lying in the sun.

Decks and outdoor living

The flybridge is the vessel’s open-air room. It carries an upper helm, a curved dining settee, sun loungers and wicker seating under a bimini. Forward, the foredeck is laid with sun pads. Aft, the main deck steps to a bathing platform at the waterline, with a shaded dining settee above it. Teak runs throughout. A BBQ aboard turns the aft deck into an evening kitchen.

Interior and accommodation

Inside, the main salon is warm cherry and cream: sofas, a wet bar, and wide windows on both sides. Four cabins sleep eight. The master runs full-beam, with a tufted headboard and a private en suite; a VIP and further cabins take the rest of the guests. Every cabin has its own bathroom, finished in marble, and air conditioning runs throughout. The 2021 refit kept the classic joinery and updated the systems behind it.

Galley, systems and equipment

The galley is fully equipped, with an ice maker, an espresso machine, a dishwasher and full refrigeration. Navigation runs from an enclosed wheelhouse with radar, GPS chartplotters and autopilot. A bow thruster makes close-quarters handling simple. WiFi is included aboard, and a fishing set and water toys come with the yacht for the days at anchor.

Crew and service

A crew of four runs the vessel, with a chef and a hostess aboard. Service is discreet and complete. The chef provisions to a menu agreed before boarding, drawing on the coast’s markets and the day’s catch. Meals are taken where the guests choose — on the aft deck at anchor, on the flybridge at dusk, or ashore at a jetty the tender reaches.

Bodrum as a base

Bodrum City Harbour is the home berth, in the heart of the old town beneath the Castle of St. Peter. Fuel, provisioning and crew are all within a short walk of the quay, and Milas–Bodrum airport is forty minutes away. For an Azimut 85 Fly charter Bodrum is both a practical departure point and a destination — close to the Gulf of Gökova to the south and the Greek Dodecanese to the west.

An Azimut 85 Fly charter Bodrum itinerary

From the harbour the Gulf of Gökova opens south: Orak Island for clear water, Cleopatra’s beach at Sedir, and a long line of quiet coves below the pine hills. Longer charters reach the Datça peninsula and the bays under ancient Knidos. Much of the best eating is boat-in only — shoreside kitchens and fishermen’s jetties a tender reaches and a road does not. The season holds from late spring through early autumn. Turkey’s national tourism board publishes seasonal guidance for the coast.
