15 m Private Yacht Charter Bodrum · Twin 740 BHP · Built 1997 · Day Charter & Sunset Cruises · Base Port: Bodrum
The Private Alternative
There is a version of Bodrum that most visitors never reach.
It exists beyond the crowded public tour boats, past the marina promenade, somewhere between the second and third bay of a day that belongs entirely to you. SL1402 was built to get you there — and to ensure that when you arrive, everything is already in order.
This 15-metre motor yacht operates out of Bodrum as a fully private day charter. No shared manifests. No strangers at your stern. Just a single group, a single vessel, and the full width of the Bodrum peninsula’s most extraordinary coastline at your disposal.
Powered by twin Volvo Penta engines producing a combined 740 BHP, SL1402 moves with the kind of authority that shorter, lighter vessels cannot replicate. The passages between bays are swift, the anchoring is deliberate, and the time you spend in each location is yours to control — not dictated by a group itinerary.

The standard three-bay itinerary aboard SL1402 covers some of the most consistently exceptional water on the Turkish Aegean.
Kara Ada — Black Island — is the anchor point of any serious Bodrum day on the water. The thermal springs that emerge from the cave walls have drawn visitors for centuries; they remain one of the peninsula’s genuinely irreplaceable experiences. Meteor Reef and Rabbit Island follow, each offering a distinct quality of anchorage — shallow turquoise water over white sand, ringed by the particular silence that only comes from being this far from shore.
The route continues through Red Island, the Small Aquarium Bay — named for the clarity of its water and the density of marine life visible from the surface — and closes at White Sand, where the afternoon light hits the shallows in a way that requires no filter and no commentary.
This is not a sightseeing itinerary. It is a studied circuit of the best the Bodrum coastline offers, navigated by a crew that knows these waters in every season.

The onboard service on SL1402 follows the same logic as the itinerary: no excess, nothing missing.
Guests are welcomed aboard with a spread of house snacks — the kind of thing that marks the transition from the marina to open water without ceremony. The main service is anchored in the Turkish mezze tradition: three to four varieties served alongside a choice of mains — grilled köfte, fresh fish, or chicken — with seasonal salad and a fruit platter to close. Soft drinks are included throughout.
The Sunset Charter adapts the same format for the late afternoon: a shortened route to the peninsula’s outer bays, served at the pace of the declining light. It is the more contemplative of the two options — and, in the right conditions, the more memorable.
Both formats are exclusive to your party. The vessel does not operate with mixed groups.

Bodrum’s reputation is built on its nightlife, its markets, its castle. What receives less attention — and what those who charter here privately tend to understand quickly — is the quality of the water immediately surrounding it.
The Bodrum peninsula curves southwest into the Aegean in a way that creates a natural series of protected bays, each facing a slightly different aspect and benefiting from different wind shadows throughout the day. The result is a coastline that is almost always accessible, almost always calm, and — when explored on a private vessel rather than a shared tour — genuinely unlike anything available from the shore.
SL1402 departs from Bodrum marina. For guests arriving by air, Milas-Bodrum Airport is 35 minutes from the marina.
