A Lagoon 50 charter Rhodes puts the largest of Lagoon’s middle range on the Dodecanese, a 15-metre sailing catamaran with four double cabins for nine guests and a flybridge helm above the coachroof. Twin 80 hp diesels for the calms, a full classic rig for the meltemi, and a draught of 1.4 metres that opens the shallow bays a monohull has to pass by. She lies at Rhodes New Marina and works the islands north and west of it. Built in 2019 and kept to charter standard.<\/p>\n

She runs crewed, a skipper aboard, so the guest list does nothing but come along. Twin 80 hp diesels, 119 kW in total, carry her under power when the wind drops. Fuel 1,040 litres, water 480 litres with a watermaker aboard.<\/p>\n

A generator, solar panels, electric winches, an inverter, an autopilot and a cockpit chart plotter round out the equipment, with a bimini over the flybridge helm. The galley is built for a week at sea: oven, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, freezer and a full-height fridge. Delivered in 2019, she pairs a modern hull with clean systems throughout.<\/p>\n

Charters begin at Rhodes New Marina, inside the medieval harbour walls at the north end of the island. From the dock the cruising ground opens straight up: Symi and its cliff-sided monastery an easy day away, Halki and Tilos to the west, Lindos down the east coast, and the Turkish shore across the strait. Four ensuite heads with showers serve them, air conditioning runs throughout, and a further berth in the saloon takes the party to nine.
