A Bali 4.4 charter Ibiza carries the Catana trademark that sets Bali apart: a rigid forward deck instead of trampolines, with a second cockpit cut into it and a bulkhead door that lifts so the saloon and the foredeck run as one room. On a boat this size that is the difference between feeling cramped and feeling open.<\/p>\n

Accommodation<\/h2>\n

The saloon and galley sit on the main deck with glazing all round, which keeps the cooking out of the hulls. Dining is set inside and in the aft cockpit, both for 6, and nobody has to eat below.<\/p>\n

Deck spaces<\/h2>\n

A Bali 4.4 charter Ibiza has three outdoor areas. The aft cockpit is the shaded one, straight off the saloon. The forward cockpit is the sun-and-breeze one and is where breakfast tends to happen. The flybridge carries the helm, a sunpad and seating for the whole group.<\/p>\n

The transom steps down to a platform between the hulls, where the tender, the paddleboards and the snorkelling gear live. The 1.20 metre draft means the yacht anchors close in over the sand at Illetes rather than out in the channel with the deeper boats.<\/p>\n

Where she cruises<\/h2>\n

A Bali 4.4 charter Ibiza normally starts from Ibiza Port and runs south to Formentera for Illetes and Espalmador, then back up the west coast for Cala Comte, Cala Salada and the sunset off Es Vedra. The Formentera crossing takes under two hours.<\/p>\n

From Ibiza the yacht can cross to Mallorca and work the coast between Andratx and Palma if the week allows. Boat-in only restaurants on Formentera are a short tender run from the anchorage and the crew book them in advance.<\/p>\n
